Flexible working time – precise results
Discover Flexitime's innovative Time Concept
Flexitime's unique flexible working time combines a time window between 1:00 min. and 2:30 min. in just one product. This means that the decision to choose between a “fast setting” or a “regular setting” impression material depending on the indication is no longer necessary.
This is made possible by Flexitime's formula, which controls the polymerisation kinetics based on oral temperature. The setting (polymerisation) process accelerates when the tray is placed into the patient’s mouth.
Furthermore, the short intraoral setting time of 2:30 min. is always the same. As a result, an impression with Flexitime takes between 3:30 min. and a maximum of 5:00 min. only - from filling the tray to removing the tray from the patient's mouth.
Hydrocompatibility
Hydrocompatibility is essential for impression materials, ensuring precise detail reproduction. Hydrocompatible materials spread easily over tooth surfaces and preparation margins, capturing necessary details for accurate impressions.
Hydrocompatibility and Thixotropy: A Perfect Pair!
Flexitime flow materials combine hydrocompatibility with thixotropy in a perfected balance. They spread smoothly and remain in place once positioned in the patient's mouth.
Hydrophilicity
Dental impression materials vary in their hydrophilicity. Some have an intrinsic hydrophilicity, but are sensitive to water absorption that may affect their dimensional accuracy, Others are hydrophobic and have problems to show all necessary details in wet environment. Good performing materials combine carefully tailored hydrophilicity e.g. by surfactants with matching thixotropy to flow perfectly on moist surfaces
Beyond Hydrophilicity: Flexitime's Water Affinity
Flexitime works excellent under wet conditions due to the low contact angle by keeping the dimensional stability even after disinfection..
Tear resistance
Preserving preparation margin information is vital for dental technicians. Flexitime withstands the forces needed to remove the impression, ensuring precise results even with undercuts.
Elastic recovery
Flexitime materials perform an elastic recovery of at least 99%. So after deformation during the removal out of the mouth the material turns back to its original shape.
Safe for sensitive patients
All Kulzer A-silicones are gluten- and lactose-free, ensuring safety for patients with those intolerances. This gives the practitioner a sense of security during the impression-taking process.
Colour and Certainty
High-contrast colour combinations enhance the user experience by providing better visual comfort. The colours of the Flexitime tray and wash materials create a contrast that improves impression interpretation, offering practitioners enhanced visual comfort.
Even minor mistakes during dental impressions can lead to poor-fitting restorations — our troubleshooting videos show you how to avoid them.
Prosthetic rehabilitation of the upper jaw
“I chose Flexitime because it shows extraordinary smoothness and a very high tear resistance. In addition, it is very versatile and offers flexible processing times – these characteristics are especially beneficial with impressions showing numerous preparations like in this case.”

Good to know: You can also use the wash material as a quick and easy fit checker for crowns and bridges - ideal for verifying fit before final placement.
Trusted C-silicones for precise impressions since the 1960s.
The product range includes three individual versions – each tailored to the exacting demands of professional users, and enabling precise and durable reproduction of detail.
No matter how precisely dental prosthetics are made, they also have to integrate in the three-dimensional spatial relationship between the maxilla and mandible. By determining the occlusion, our bite registration materials based on addition-curing silicones contribute to the fabrication of perfectly fitting dental prosthetics. Their diverse uses in prosthetics, conservative dentistry, implantology and orthodontics are examples of their broad spectrum of applications - from the standard bite registration situation through to special indications.
Anatomical models serve numerous diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in the dental surgery. The precondition for producing a suitable anatomical model is an accurately dimensioned impression. We offer you two material groups for anatomical impressions - alginates and also alginate substitute. The high dimensional stability of the A-Silicone based Alginate sustitute ensures long storage stability and allows additional pourings even after several weeks. Mixing occurs easily, safely and quickly in an automatic mixing device.
When it comes to high-speed mixing, time-saving and simultaneously obtaining a consistent, void-free mixture, the decision is easily made: Practical cartridges and the functional Dynamix®speed 2 mixer are perfectly matched in this well-thought-out system featuring all the advantages of automatic mixing for impression materials.
Our astringent retraction paste provides a cleanly opened gingival sulcus and ensures beautifully exposed, blood-free preparation margins.
"Great and strong addition to the market, I love the product. Will definitely use it again and again.“
"I was very pleased with the consistency of the paste. Washed off easily and left no residue and dried the sulcus efficiently. “
"RetraXil would be my choice over the astringent capsules. This is more user friendly and there is no residue.“
