The injection is performed using an ILA needle with a particularly short bevel, inserted into the desmodontal space at an angle between 10° and 30°.
The unique SOPIRA Carpule needles are cut extra-short specifically for intraligamentary anaesthesia. This prevents bending of the needle in the desmodontal space and reduces the risk of injury.
